Realising the People Promise in theatres

We know from the NHS Staff Survey that too often the day to day experience of people working in theatres isn't what it should be, and it would be wonderful to change that through #SolvingTogether.  The People Promise describes what staff told us they want it to be like to work in the NHS and the Staff Survey in 2021 is aligned to the 7 elements of the People Promise. You can find the results here;

NHS Staff Survey 2021 National results briefing (nhsstaffsurveys.com)

What are your ideas of what we can do to improve people's experience?

What have you seen work, and make a difference?

What are the daily habits and 'acts of kindness' which will help?

Hi John, a brilliant opportunity to combine the People Promise and #SolvingTogether. Better supporting theatres staff will surely have a positive impact on patients, too.

There are some great examples of how people's experience of working in theatres has been improved as part of initiatives carried out in particular organisations. However, looking at staff survey results these seem to be the exception rather than the norm, and a key challenge for us is to ensure this good practice is spread as far and as quickly as possible.
