#SolvingTogether Launch session ideas

On the 4th April 13:00-14:00 Tim Ferris, Director of Transformation at NHS England and NHS Improvement. During the session the audience were split into breakout groups and focused on a challenge. Each challenge has two rooms focusing on it.

Here are some of the ideas that the audience came up with during the session.

Room 1 

• Flow
• Management of pain
• Dedicated contact to keep people informed, monitoring etc (continuity of care)
• ‘Prehab’
• Helping patients stay as well as possible whilst waiting
• Utilising 3rd sector & other orgs to support capacity for people awaiting treatment - sector level demand & capacity management approach for services to share load.
• Outpatient appointments
• Make things more accessible, options for appointments (e.g. telephone F2F), time of day, technology to manage own appointments.
• Ask patients!
