Early Identification & Intervention for Children's Feeding Disorders

We work with Eating Disorders services in the Midlands to share our expereince of working with younger children (age 18 months - 12 years) with a diagnosis of paediatric feeding disorder (PFD). Prioritising prevention, and reducing escalation through early identification and intervention, can help prevent the development of eating diorders such as ARFID, where anxiety and fear of eating become primary drivers of food refusal.

Hi Natalie, do you have a link to your page? It would be great to see what initiatives/interventions you have used and how they have integrated with ED services (I am assuming you are a VCSE?). Do you know if there are similar services/vcse's outside of the midlands area?

Hi Sarah - we are third sector, currently a not-for-profit CIC in process of transferring to become a charity. I don't know of any other similar services, but we do support families/professionals nationally, so happy to have a conversation about supporting initiatives in your area. Our website is www.feedingtrust.org
