Versus Arthritis Lets Move Physical Activity Programme! Online movement resource's and programmes to support people with arthritis to move more!

We have developed a range of virtual resources to support people with arthritis and related musculoskeletal conditions to move more in a way that works for them. Our work is based on what people with lived experience of Arthritis want and we have incorporated behaviour change principles to encourage people to be active over a longer period of time.

We believe our Lets Move with Leon, 12 week movement programme will be a great support for people to stay as well as possible while waiting.

Our programme includes 30 minute movement sessions delivered by fitness expert Leon Wormley and his mum Janet. The sessions are a holistic, full-body programme that aims to improve strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. An activity tracker and access to a Facebook community is also included

Lets Move with Leon is also available on DVD and can be sent directly to peoples homes. You can find out more about the programme here- Let's Move with Leon | Versus Arthritis

Love the resource and the Idea. I completely agree with whole body activities especially getting individual to look at the bigger picture in terms of their bodies. I also have a similar concept, I choose to break down walking and got great results from this. Here is a sample guide. Please let me know what you think. https://r3physiotherapy.com/wp-content/upload...-Oct-2020-2.pdf

Thank you Ryan! We agree! A holistic approach is key. I've had a look at your Walking with Ease booklet which also looks like a great resource.

This sounds great, potentially very inclusive. Is there a cost involved with the programme?

Great idea and using different media makes it accessible to people, are they offered in different languages too for patients?
